DMA:2011 Wrap-Up
Everyone from Allora Media returned from the DMA:2011 Conference & Exhibition in Boston with some new leads, a handful of business cards, and new ideas.
Traffic was definitely up over previous years, with plenty of new opportunities and connections being built in and around the BCEC. Here's some highlights:
- Email chatter was front and center - almost everyone was looking to talk email, especially ESPs, campaign strategy, and adding subscribers.
- Landing pages are a concern for direct marketers. Many shops just don't have the manpower to design, code, manage, and optimize them. We often discussed our LPE (landing page engine) as a solution.
- New direct channels for acquisition through loyalty are here for you to use. Targeted online ads and social CRM engage users online while location-based and mobile apps get them on-the-go.
- Prospect generation, whether traditional or online, tied with email as the top inquiry in the Allora Media/List Services booth. Every company needs new business or consumer leads, new ways of getting leads, and the means to convert those leads into profitable customers.
You don't have to wait for the next conference to talk everything web and email! Drop us a message at info@alloramedia.com and tell us about your problem areas. We'll have a solution for you.
